You can give your AI coding companion a custom pet. Codex Pets are animated characters that float on your screen while you work. This tool turns one picture into a full pet spritesheet and JSON file.
Just drop your image into the command line. The skill uses RunComfy and ImageMagick to create the exact format Codex expects. No special subscription or API key is required.
Place the output folder in your Codex pets directory. Your new pet will appear next to the eight built in ones. It will wave, run, and react just like the official pets.
