The BLS Job Market Visualizer helps you explore career data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It shows 342 occupations in an interactive treemap. Each rectangle is sized by employment and colored by a metric like growth, pay, or AI exposure score.
You can run the full pipeline from scraping to visualization. The most powerful feature is the LLM scoring layer. You write a custom prompt, run the script, and get a new color scheme for the treemap. This makes it easy to analyze job trends from different angles.
Anyone interested in job market research or career planning can use this tool. It is built by Andrej Karpathy and is fully forkable on GitHub.
