The proxy listens on your computer at 127.0.0.1:1080. It takes the traffic from Telegram Desktop and sends it through secure WebSocket connections to Telegram’s own data centers. This makes the blocked traffic look like normal web traffic.
You just install the tool, start it, and then tell Telegram Desktop to use it as a SOCKS5 proxy. The setup is simple and works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
