OmniStudio Data Mapper helps you connect and change data inside Salesforce. It replaces the older DataRaptor tool. You can create Extract, Transform, Load, and Turbo Extract data mappers to map fields and move information between objects. This skill guides you to build and check those data mappers for correct field mapping and data integrity.
Each data mapper type has a specific job. Extract mappers run queries to get data. Turbo Extract mappers run faster for large amounts of read-only data. Transform mappers reshape data in memory without saving. Load mappers perform insert, update, upsert, or delete actions. Knowing which type to use is important for good performance.
Field level security must be checked before going live. This skill also validates your data mapper against a 100 point scoring system. Use it to make sure your data mappers are reliable and follow best practices for Salesforce OmniStudio.
