PyMOL lets you see and study proteins and other molecules in 3D. You can create images of protein structures, measure distances, and highlight important areas like binding sites. It works without a screen or special graphics card.
Researchers use PyMOL to color molecules by B-factor or pLDDT scores. You can also perform structural alignments and check protein-ligand interactions. This skill does all that directly on your computer.
Every time you use this skill, it saves a session file. That way you can open the same view later in your own PyMOL program. It is a helpful tool for anyone studying molecular structures.
