An ETF's market price and its true value can sometimes be different. This tool finds the difference using data from Yahoo Finance. It tells you if the ETF is trading at a premium or a discount to its net asset value.
A premium means you pay more than the assets inside the ETF are worth. A discount means you get a bargain. These gaps are often small for US stock ETFs but can be big for bond ETFs, international ETFs, and crypto ETFs.
The tool can also break down a sudden price jump. It shows you how much of the move came from the underlying assets and how much came from other forces. This helps you understand why the ETF moved the way it did.
