A command line tool called gog lets you control Google Workspace apps from your terminal. You can manage Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Contacts, Sheets, and Docs without opening a web browser.
With gog you can search emails, send messages, and create drafts. You can also list and create calendar events, search files in Drive, and read or edit spreadsheets. The tool uses simple commands that you type in your terminal.
To get started you need to set up OAuth authentication once. After that you can run commands quickly and even use them in scripts. This is a great way to automate repetitive tasks in Google Workspace.
